Super Duper Easy Pasta Salad

The theme for Share A Spoon this week is salads. Everyone loves a good salad in the summer. And there are so many different kinds, pasta, fruit, jello, and the kind with lots of green lettuce. So click above for lots of great recipes!

This salad is SO easy. It's hard to even call it a recipe. Because basically you just throw in whatever you want. It's a great way to use your fave veggies!

1 to 2 lbs of pasta cooked, drained and rinsed with cool water Spaghetti or Bow Tie work the best

Red Onion, chopped

Cucumber, chopped or sliced

1 each red, yellow, green bell peppers - sliced and seeded

Tomato, chopped

1 can sliced olives

Carrots - sliced or shredded (your choice)

Green onions

You can also add 1 can of each kidney beans, and garbonzo beans - rinsed and drained

1 bottle of your fave italian dressing - I like to use Zesty or Red Pepper Italian dressing. I also look for a light version

If your dressing isn't providing enough seasoning you can add salt, pepper, paprika and red pepper flakes to suit your tastes.

Throw it all in a large bowl, stir it up, and eat! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Makes a great dish to take to BBQ's!
